Description

Marena Windle is a certified physician assistant. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama Honors College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to work as a research assistant with the Department of Hematology/Oncology in Bone Marrow Transplant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. She then completed her masters of physician assistant studies at UAB in 2020. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Society for Pediatric Dermatology and serves as a board member for the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals. Before joining Inverness Dermatology as a Physician Assistant, Marena worked here as a medical assistant. She is thrilled to be back at Inverness Dermatology as a provider. She has always been passionate about the field of dermatology, especially pediatric dermatology, and was awarded first place for her master’s thesis: Indoor Tanning and Skin Cancer: Does Early Exposure in Adolescence Increase the Risk of Skin Cancer as an Adult? As a physician assistant, she strives to deliver exceptional and compassionate care to patients while also educating kids and adolescents on the importance of sun safety and promoting heathy skin.
