Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama fueled Hernando Carter’s desire to serve his community. He came to ArchWell Health because its mission aligns perfectly with his care philosophy that the best patient outcomes are achieved through a holistic, team-based approach with preventative care. His passion for mentoring and philanthropy led him to found “Prescription for Better Living, ” a Birmingham nonprofit that mentors young people interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. In his free time, he enjoys golf, barbecue, and Crimson Tide football.
